More than a Mason Jar

Mason Jars are a great alternative for a glass of water or water bottle.

Who doesn't love the look of a mason jar with colorful food showing off for you? Of course, you don't have to use one, but it makes it look so yummy! If you don’t have a mason jar, you can always recycle jars you’ve used in the kitchen.

That gorgeous honey jar you just finished would be a PERFECT jar for salads, layered healthy meals, and decadent whole food desserts.

Here are a few reasons why I love to use mason jars for meal prep and on-the-go snacks.

  • Recycling glass jars is letting the environment know you’ve got her back.
  • Mason or recycled jar meals are easy to grab and go, no bulky tupperware.
  • You always know what you’ve got waiting for you when you’ve got a craving for something good.
  • No more mystery tupperware science projects.

  • Fun for picnics and BBQ’s
  • Easy to clean and store

  • Mason jars are a great alternative for a glass of water, or plastic water bottle. Fun, easy and no spill. They’re also amazing for infusing water. Just like prepping salad, or yummy snacks, you can create a variety of healthy, refreshing infused waters. Open the refrigerator, and grab what you’re in the mood for, or if you’ve got a guest what they're in the mood for.

Enjoy a few recipes I prepared for by downloading the printable pdf. I even left a few lines empty on one of the cards, hoping you would feel inspired & create a unique infusion recipe all your own.

I’d love to see the fun healthy ways you’ve used your mason jars or recycled jars. Tag me on instagram @rootsandwingswellness.
